Wait til September, or Episode 7. There is an embargo on Episode 7 toy announcements until September 4th I think, colloquially dubbed "Star Wars Toy Day."

I am personally almost certain that the X-wing update is coming and that it will be associated with the Episode 7 releases, which means they are simply not allowed to announce it yet under penalty of losing the entire Star Wars license. There is even word that Episode 7 was mentioned during the briefing and that they specifically said they cannot discuss anything yet.

Patience, young Padawan. The Force will Awaken. It will raise the X-wing from the swamp and it will fly again.

I think you'll see some of what you're wishing for with the Episode VII release for X-Wing.

X-wings aren't in an entirely horrible spot. A few regionals were won lately with X-wings. Now I haven't heard of any Tie Defenders winning any regionals.

Didn't Lego release something already? I guess X-wing is a game not a toy but I wonder about this enbargo. Any source you can identify? Unless Disney has something up the mouse's sleeve (cue music) this seems strange. Maybe they have something special going on in FLA.

Ok, just realized you said Episode 7 not wave 7. I didn't see the entire live stream of the flight report. I see what you're saying now. Ok, I shall center myself, breathe slow and deep and suppress my desire for an X-wing fix until the 4th of September.
