[WAVE 8] What We Know (and how we know it)

By Tipperary, in X-Wing

"Computer" is too long if the first word is "Guidance". [T] for Torpedo, [M] for Missile, [E] for Eye, [H] for Hit. Last sentence is a pretty big guess, but it's the first thing I could think of to combine "primary" and '"0"'.

Guidance

Computer

Modification.

When attacking with a [T] or

[M] secondary weapon, you

may change an [E] result to a

[H] result. {After attacking, set

your primary weapon value to

"0" this round.}

or

When attacking with a [T] or

[M] secondary weapon, you

may change all [E] results to

[H] results. {Then reduce

your primary weapon value to

"0" this round.}

Also (a little iffy after "equipped" since the lines don't quite, well, line up):

Attanni

Mindlink

Each time this ship performs

a focus or evade action,

each other friendly ship that has

Attanni Mindlink equipped may

be assigned the same type

of token, then receive a

stress token.

That would make more sense.. Though reinforced deflectors still fits.

I think Reinforced Deflectors is a good call. If I had to guess it would add a limited ability to roll an agility die. Not all the time of course but something to slow the bleeding.

Kinda like a Re-enforce action for Huge ships, eh? That could actually work pretty well, if it costs an action: Not always worth it, but when facing massed fire... plenty worth it.

FYI if you zoom in really close, you can tell that one upgrade is a torpedo, and the other is a bomb on the Ghost.

FYI, Ghost Hera's ability looks like: When you reveal a green or red maneuver, you may rotate your dial to another maneuver of the same difficulty.

They both look like torpedo slots to me (I think that they look slightly differently because of pixelation), which leads me to believe that the phantom will be able to drop bombs, or perhaps one of the crew members will give the Ghost the ability to.

Is the Guidance C(omputer/ontrols/orrector/oordinator/???) turning your primary to 0 just for gunner's sake or am I missing another interaction?

I guess Dengar and Corran too potentially

What we recon those 3 tokens in to top right are?

objective markers more than likely

looks like the Reinforced Deflectors upgrade gives more shields... since the photo shows extra shield tokens with the Ghost.

nevermind... the 2 extra shields are for the Phantom.

Something along those lines would be good for the X-Wing.

This is some good work in the OP(s) by the way TIpperary. Thanks for that!

Yea the article changed. I read it on my work desktop and it said attack shuttle had sensors at about 4:45 yesterday. Now changed.

If they edited the article to take that out, it was probably for a reason. It seems like the OP should reflect the fact that it might have been a mistake.

Exactly. I firmly believe that this is the x-wing fix some of us have been asking for.

A mistake to show it or an actual mistake? There's no way to know.

Exactly. There's no way to know for certain so the OP shouldn't reflect the Attack Shuttle as definitely having a Sensor slot in a Topic called "What We Know". I got the impression that this was for collecting the information that was basically confirmed, and that is a great big "maybe."

I think it will change again ... it still says the shuttle has a turret, which I'm pretty sure it doesn't have...

I thought I'd removed the Sensor slot from the Phantom last night, but apparently the edit interface is still being wonky (in-line isn't saving updates properly, and has randomly added extra bullets into things). FIXED.

Already sniped (that was one of the first things I wookieepedia'd yesterday).

I used to do sprite stuff at tiny scales (16x16 or less), and if those two are different icons I'll be VERY surprised.

Current spec is Sabine crew converts torp to bomb but that's not in the collation posts because we can't see enough text to hint.
