You action bar gains the barrel-roll action icon. You must equp 1 "Tractor Beam" Upgrade card (paying its squad point cost as normal).

The only thing that we know about it's dial is that it has a red 3 bank.

Hmmmm. Does that make it more difficult for C3PO to guess how many Evades are going to come up? The maths is sort of beyond me at 2am.

You probably want to avoid using it if your target has Lone Wolf, though?

Is the icon on the Tractor Beam a cannon or something else?

If it is a cannon icon that would open up the Cloaking Device usage on the Scum Firespray, Virago and Heavy Scyk's.

Can anyone confirm what that icon is?

The cloaking device is small ship only and fills the illicit slot. The tractor beam is definitely a cannon icon.

The cloaking device will be usable on the Mist Hunter, HWKs, Z-95s, Virago and Khiraxz. Tractor beam seems to be able to go on any ship with a cannon slot + the Mist Hunter. I'm really interesting in knowing what it does.

I wonder if 4 x Blue Squad with FCS and Tractor Beams is going to be a thing.

Nifty way to make a ship without a cannon slot, but still make Tractor Beam a cannon for all the other ships that should get it.

I'm going to guess that the tractor token prevents the defender from rolling evade dice.

This is way too good for 1 point. My strategy would be out them on everything, catch Soontir once, then win. He'll evade it a few times but it'll eventually catch him. Then if you have another ship with arc on him or a turret attack, he's instavapor.

Interceptors would quickly return to the realm of unviability.

Given that they just saw a triumphant return, I'd stay that's unlikely. The tractor beam token will be cool, but at one point, if can't be THAT powerful. Consider that an ion cannon is 3 points. I can't wait to find out what it does, but because if it's cost I don't expect it to be hugely high impact.

If it does anything but reduce agility value by 1 I'll be surprised.

If that's all it does I'd expect it to throw more dice. At three dice it's chance to hit anything with high agility and tokens isn't great. Outside of the Falcon you'd be better throwing actual damage dice at anything that you'd be able to hit reliably.

I just think that the name "Zuckuss" is rather vulgar.
