Well, when you consider how the voice acting is on other successful shows that are designed for kids, yes. Pokemon, Digimon, Yugioh, all have / had pretty bad voice acting because they are made for kids.
Kids aren't all that concerned about the voice acting or whether adults find the story line to be predictable. The show is made to bring young kids into the Star Wars universe and get them excited to watch the original trilogy, the prequels, and the new trilogy that is coming out.
...while trying to satisfy the older fans, who grew up with the Original Trilogy...
