Agent Kallus

Echo or Bounty Hunters, methinks.

a 35pt Bounty Hunter is going to be a nice brick to run a pair of aces alongside; their problem has always been prematurely burning down; given Luke-level defense rolls will most assuredly help.

My only pity is that it's not Scum; they've got a whole pile of single-crew ships that would adore this. Perhaps a "Bounty contract" illicit for similar hijinks at some point? :)

(I feel he should probably have had a token attached. Kinda odd that he doesn't.)

make no mistake, I think Kallus is a great card

problem is, I see his ass being shoved into kenkirk and being left there to rot as yet another PWT + arc-dodger (probably the inquisitor this time) build

I don't know about this. What are you taking off? Captive, Gunner, Isard? Defensively, he would work on at best 75% of Kirk's HP, and only 25% of those rolls are expected to roll an eye. The Firespray is at least rolling more dice, from turn 1.

A Kath + Lone Wolf + Kallus is 42 points, **** tough, and it doesn't really need anything else to be good. Less flexible than RecSpec, but way more effective against super-ship builds. You'd get to re-roll a blank, turn an eye into something good, and use your action to Evade. High probability of 3 damage blocked, and it's action-independent.

take off captive for callous kallus

nearly fat han status, nearly fat cheri mods, block soonts; minimal action dependency; unavoidable PWT

His mutton chops were seriously nerfed in the art style change.

No way, Captive is much stronger on a 0 or 1 AGI ship. I could see dropping Gilmer to save 3 points, maybe, especially if you don't expect a lot of high AGI targets.

Fat ships with this upgrade have another issue - who do you tank against?

I feel this is better at hunting fat ships than it is buffing them. Which is a relief, frankly. ;)

Not that good, imo.

First rd only. Unless you fly as fast as you can, and the enemy doesn't camp their back edge.... You'll get nothing from it.

Am I missing something?

It lasts the whole game.

You didnt actually think it was just for one round?

I had to reread the card a couple times to figure out why it wasn't awful.

Then I got very excited.

Had great success with this card on my decimator

Rear admiral + kallus+Rebel captive+ moff+experimental interface +expose

Vader+advanced targeting computer+engine upgrade+predator

With the admiral, you can roll 4 (5at range 1) attack die take a target lock and have kallus plus himself turn 2 of the focus into hit/crit.very painful and will see most ships off the board pretty quickly. After that you can use moff to chuck out kallus.
