I'm looking forward to throwing this on a HWK. For 4 points you are giving the HWK an evade action and 4 agility in return for not attacking. You've got a 6/8 chance of getting a big reposition the following round.

Palob with Moldy Crow and Cloaking Device... really screw with folks determined to stop his shenanigans early on.

Why stop there? Throw ACD on it too! It's a Mod, and the Cloaking Device is an Ilicit. Sure, you're out 4 points when if fails.... but I always say Go big, or go home!

The might be cool on N'dru as well. He really needs something to help him be a more effective flanker.
It's not Glitterstim+LW+Cluster Missiles but SPA+Cloaking Device+LW is 23 points of annoying.

I like the random chance of failure of this illicit upgrade. Seems so Scum, like Salvaged Astromechs.

No. Focus tokens are only usable on attack rolls and defense rolls- You can't use them on say, R5-P9's die roll. Cards from wave II onward have introduced other uses, but those specifically say you can use a focus token for them.

Kind of a dodgy sort of cloak, but still...
So it looks like you have the option of discarding it and decloaking or just discarding your cloak token when you roll focus results. At two points the ability to gain two evade dice and have the decloak ability is definitely worth it. Even if you do roll focus tokens you don't have to lose the upgrade card, you can instead just discard the token. I am going to join the crowd on this and say to pair with the Stygium Particle Accelerator.
