By Panic 217, in X-Wing

I really like the idea of someone rocking the Tracers with a group of titled TIE Advanced v1s (v1s? TAPs? TIE Protos?).

For their action, the v1s take a focus action. Big PS guy shoots the tracer, hits, and they all acquire a TL and then promptly get a free evade. Boom, bunch of 3-Agility ships with all kinds of dice modifiers.

Might be difficult getting them over that 2 attack dice hump, but crikey the potential action economy...

If I understand it right inquisitor only modifies attack, not defence, so you still get to use Autothrusters vs him at range 3

It treats the attack as if it were range 1 so no AT

But he'd get to use Autothrusters at Range 2 because his ability only applies to attacks.

I have only one thing to say:

Gonk droid.

In fact I'm so happy about it that I'll say it like this:

GONK DROID!!!

:)

OK, I might be terribly wrong but I see inquisitor only giving attacker benefit of range 1, not removing range 3 benefits from defender. He only counts its attack as range 1 for himself, but doesn't modifiy defenders range. And again I might be teribly wrong

Elated.

Effing elated!

Love rebels. Minis look fab. Cannot wait

Having played mauler and stabber I'm not terribly impressed by scourge. That's a one shot waitingvto happen

The crew card is nifty and well priced but I doubt it'll have enough impact. In fact you might just see it on 2 ship builds going against other 2 ship builds

And now for a crazy idea about non titled jump masters

Deadeye

Proton torps

Extra munis

R4 aggro mech

Since they can't get hlc, that's the best I can do

The Inquisitor is also going to be annoying against Falcons/Decimators. Cheap 3 Atk with Autothrusters.

There is also some stuff in there that I am keeping an eye on about ordnance. The Tracer missile is already a neat addition for the low PS ordnance carriers. But there is also a new modification that clearly references Missiles.

missed the 'against him bit' yep absolutely.

So if phantom is docked to Ghost, it looks like it gets three attacks? 1 from the ghost, then 1 primary from the phantom, then at end of combat, another from the turret on the phantom?

So if phantom is docked to Ghost, it looks like it gets three attacks? 1 from the ghost, then 1 primary from the phantom, then at end of combat, another from the turret on the phantom?

I read it as if docked you can attack out of back arc and front arc as your primary attack. You may then make a single attack using secondary turret. (gunner cannot trigger on turret as card states its LAST attack in the round)

So only 2 attacks total.

An attack doesn't have one range for attacker and one for defender. If the Inquisitor is attacking with his primary, the range for that attack is always 1.

With that avatar, it looks like you're scared of it lol

Notice the icon on the Ghost's secondary arc?

That means no shooting out the back without a docked attack shuttle.

So only 2 attacks total.

Yeah you can make a primary attack out of either arc, and then a 2nd attack at the end of the round with a turret upgrade.

Without the Phantom docked you can only make primary attacks from the primary arc and can't use the special arc at all.

the range for that attack is always 1.

And really, it's just treated as if it were range 1.

Can someone explain... why the Punishing One pack comes with 7 shields and the pilots all have only 4 shields?

Is this the first pack where you get more shields than what the base stats are?

Error or an upgrade that increases shields on huge (scum?) by 3??

Speculate!!

Also, assymetric dial on punishing one!

Oh. And Dengar... is a 9 (well I guess we now have a 'famous' scum pilot with a 9, but it still makes Boba sour...)

Dengar is Corellian, so maybe he had the same flight instructor as Han.

Well they now moved out of the OT and EU based on the OT on to spin-off shows and Episode 8. I think prequel ships might be more of a thing now.

There's still plenty of Legends ships they can pull from.

I actually want prequel stuff but it's easy to admit there's still plenty they can pull from elsewhere. XG-1 and Clawcraft being my biggest wants now that we've got Rebles and EP 7 stuff coming.

I want the XG-1 just so I don't have to keep reading about how so many players want it. I think it's kind of ugly and looks like a BSG rip-off, which is funny since BSG ships are basically Star Wars rip-offs.

Hmmm, Agent Kallus, Scourge, that tracking missile... looks like anti-fat stuff to me.

So uh...guys. All the Sloops we've seen so far are speed 3 maneuvers. I can't find the reference image that shows a white '2' sloop, so I'm hoping.

The Jumpmaster has an illicit astromech slot.

Unhinged Astromech exists.

Buckle up...for ERRATA.

Does this mean that the TIE Advanced protoype can use the TIE/x1 title?

There is a "TIE only" card which I assume all TIE ships can use, and TIE/x1 title simply says "TIE Advanced only". The TIE Advanced Protype title explicitly says "TIE Advanced Prototype only".

Oversight or intentional?

It's got a 2-whiteSeg on the dial.

More pertinently, the reference card for the S-loop does NOT mention speed at all, except for the visual bit. There's no rules restriction that makes them speed-3.

My dreams, so young were they.
