So with the new announcement of the Gozanti, and the Raider being released do you think ffg will support more epic play?

I am hoping to see epic tournament kits. Even if it's just a seasonal thing, I think alt art cards for the Raider, upgrades, official ffg acrylic energy, and acrylic large range ruler would be sweet!!

Either way I'm really excited

God I hope so. I LOVE Epic play, but just don't get a chance to do it nearly as often as I'd like. If there were official tournaments, I bet it would drum up interest further.

I never tried Epic on vassal, but there was a tournament earlier this year that I watched bits of. I played a bunch of epic when they first came out, but I been basically waiting for the Empire to catch up before I play anymore. I'm super excited for it now.

I found with just havin the rebels with the only epic ship, the empire had such sheer numbers and raw firepower

I hope for epic play each side will have to field x amount of epic points to prevent someone from spamming shuttles with hlc.

I had a game my buddy was flying I think 3 shuttles two Firesprays with hlc and bombers and ties

Just couldn't prevent enough of them if getting within firing range.

Either way I'm pretty excited for this.

Yeah that's basically what my games turned into, 2 HLC Firesprays and an HLC Shuttle, with Jonus and 3 Bombers with Assault missiles, and whatever else he could fit in. It was insane.

Ya and even with all those hlc the empire still fielded more ships on the board, so unless rebels was killing 2 ships or so a turn it was pretty rough.

So I stopped playing epic, but now I'm extremely excited

I've been craving am epic game fir awhile now.

Along with the tweak they added to the long range shots, you now have a chance to hurt something at range 5 which is nice as well.

Before the only reliable target would be shoot at a shuttle or something with 1 agility and even them it got a nice boost.

Shooting at a tie with 6 evade dice or a Phantom with 7 good luck

I really like epic play, but it wasn't as fun with out the Empire having epic ships of their own. I can't wait for both of these to be on the table. I think this is just what epic needs to get going.
