Sadly B17s don't solo entire enemy squadrons with their fat armor and plot armor. I mean seriously. I bet even like 5 ties arent going to be enough for this one.

If I recall from the show, it has a nose gun (manned by a crew member; usually Sabine), a tail gun (in the form of the Ghost), and a dorsal turret. It's almost like they took a B-17 and turned it into a space ship.

More and more I am liking the idea someone had a while ago that the Ghost might be the first ship that you could actually do as a single ship list. Really buff it out, give it some ability to attack twice (or thrice) a turn. Add crew and upgrades and get the Ghost (and attached Phantom) at 100 points.

I don't think it will be that high. Maybe, but I doubt it. I would guess more like 12-15 total hit points. More shields than a Decimator, but less hull. Maybe 6 shields, 9 hull.
All the guns is why I think it'll have a rear arc only if you have taken (and have docked) the Phantom. And then maybe 3 dice front and a turret upgrade, or our first split-fire ship, where it's 3 dice in the front arc but only 2 for 360?
Otherwise it'll just be OP lol

The idea of a rear arc only when the Phantom is docked is intriguing. What if it had a front arc(obviously) and Turret upgrade slot that you can only use if you equipt a crew, and a rear arc that only works when the Phantom is docked and also has a crew manning it. All three could shoot at different targets each turn. This would definitely encourage the 1 ship Ghost build people have been talking about.

Well, people already complain about fat turrets and MoV nowadays, imagine when those are tabled.
I'm kind of curious to see what the crew art for the Ghost looks like. They'll be taking stylized CG characters and transferring them into forms that aim for realism.
