Imperial Fighters

Need some insight here. I want to work with this list for an upcoming tournament. So far, i have had some mixed luck with it. Feels awkward wtih a Glad-I

I want to bid for initiative, but at the same time, I wish i could get that Glad-II to fit in....

Ideas?

So you are suggesting a complete revision of my squadrons to open my my Glad II....

Any chance you can explain why you like this squadron config over Mauler/Suntir? Also, if I don't run bombers or Mauler, is there any purpose to having chirpy? Wouldn't that give me more fighers ;)

I find Tie fighters in small numbers fodder without Howlrunner, with her and hard hitting ints along with Vader allows you pounce, with the help of flight controllers, on any fighter or bomber group within tempting range with 5-6 dice attacks. nothing wrong with Soontir or Mauler btw. As far as Chirpy, he allows your activated chaps to possibly move away from being engaged by enemy fighters( whats left them) after you've shot the crap out of them.. ...also as an added bonus you get a wicked Glad II in the bargain..(By having the Glad II near by can be a boon as well, no matter what fighter config yer flyin) :) Again, Jc, just an idea...not suggesting you change a thing, just tryin to help a fellow Adm :)

Oh I was only asking because I have not seen that kind of configuration locally. I really like the logic. Something absolutely worth playtesting. Sontir and Mauler are fun but somethign felt like it was missing. I think I will give this a shot next week

Why do you need a Glad II? They're points inefficient. Get a I, does the job just as well.
