The FAQ make the distinction between the wording of "wounds" and "kills instantly" for the purpose of the "Not Dead Yet" ability. I was just wondering what the consensus is concerning Zor'ka's "Imposing" ability and this wording distinction. Since Imposing says Zor'ka doesn't suffer automatic wounds no matter what the source, does that mean he also can't be killed instantly via a Flash Gun for example? Or does the distinction b/w the two terms mean that Zor'ka is still vulnerable to the Flash Gun instant kill?
Also I have only played against the Matriarchy only once, but I felt that they were just insanely overpowered. I'll admit my opponent was rolling well; but MAN that magnifier was brutal, killed Eva and nearly killed Karl in one hit. And Zor'ka just couldn't take damage; no matter how well I rolled, which was not that great with a 7 target DC my opponent always made the Shock roll. Then, Irina's gun, the 1920 Nagant Special, is crazy good too. Add 1 to each die AND reroll 2 misses?!! Geeeez! Plus all the Tesla Coils and Super Tesla Coils all over the place essentially neutered my shooting ability.
I've read quite a bit about people thinking the Matriarchy aren't very good or are underpowerd and I'm just wondering how so? Where are these weaknesses? How are they not just insanely awesome?
