So....thinking about Bombers in general, I was trying to figure out a nice idea for a list. I have 4 bombers and plenty of secondary weapons, but wanted to try something other than Jonus.
With Wave VII fast approaching, the combination of Extra Munitions and Twin Ion Engines MkII makes Major Rhymer worth another try - his ability pairs incredibly well with range 1-2 munitions and Extra Munitions means you can get several turns worth of ordnance without breaking the bank - the more expensive the weapon, the better the discount.
I was also reading Sablegryphon's experiment with proximity mines - combined with Twin Ion Engines MkII, you can get actions more easily, which makes it easier to use mines as you need them, and a single point is not an unreasonable investment for improving a bomber's dial.

Is 100 points exactly. I would imagine the three Scimitars form the front line and Rhymer drops in behind them - I don't want him going in first because he's going to draw enough fire anyway; if he can hang back on turn 1 and trade primary weapon shots, hopefully he can punt some APTs into a target that's already wounded from the first turn's laser shots or mines from the scimitars.
