Why do we not see more Alt Art pilot cards with movie stills?

Why all these drawn cards? (And a another new Luke Alt Art card?)

Why don't we get a Garven Dreis, Porkins or Wes Janson movie still Alt Art card?

I don't know why, but I do think the ones with painted art look a lot better. Game pieces that use film stills always come off looking very cheap and lazy.

regardless of whether you're a fan of the movie stills or the painted alternates , WHY did they have to do a pilot that has already received an alternate art card (and technically an over-sized one as well)?

there are a plethora of other awesome pilots yet to receive alternate treatment, as mentioned above the 3 x-wing pilots that will have movie stills (if that's what you like) but also plenty of Imp pilots to do, Howlrunner has been around from day 1 and feels like it would be great to get an alt art of.

some more scum pilots, we just got Boba, but would it hurt to spread the love?

Just don't understand a promo for an underutilized pilot, especially one that's already been done.

Maybe they are trolling like last year with the "Bad" Darth Vader Pilot card that now seems to go for lots of $$$$ and are planning to reveal a super duper title for the X-Wing that makes Luke good to play

I vaguely remember reading that FFG only had a certain set or allotment of film stills they could use, but don't quote me.

I do agree somewhat, Luke is a bit underwhelming, but in person the card is a lot better than it looks in the photos. Plus the Regionals movie still outside the cockpit is pretty awful.

It is time for the X-wing to make a comeback. Someone was using a 4 X-wing list at Gencon and I had to shake the mans hand. No idea how he did, but it was glorious to see.
