Question for those who have the core book!

By Alderaan Crumbs, in Star Wars: Force and Destiny RPG

Before this starts, allow me to ask this not turn into a debate about the Morality/Conflict mechanics. We all know they're awesome and anyone who disagrees is a poo-poo-dummy-face-head! (Yes, that is most assuredly a joke! Have your opinions! :))

In all seriousness I'm wondering if the list of "sins" has any changes or if there's more guidance on handling Morality/Conflict. If so, might somebody give the good and bad about the additions/changes?

**** it! :)

I lent my beta book to a player, but the Common Conflict Point Penalties chart looks about the same. And I don't think they put anymore guidance on handling Morality/Conflict in the DMs section. I honestly can't remember if the two examples for "Triggering Morality" were given in the beta book like they are in this book. One is an example on how to trigger morality. The other is an example testing a character's morality of Compassion/Hatred.

Again, another gorgeous book!

I compared the two, and the chart's identical between the books.

But in the end it really comes down to your discretion, and how you're running the show. If you're ,ore interested one story telling aspect, like I am,myth will take more time to discuss with your players the reasons for their actions and the consequences.

You will know when to apply conflict. The number of points to assign in the guide is merely a suggestion to give you an idea of what kind of actions are deserving of X amount of conflict.
