Now that we have deployment rules established, I would not be surprised if the gozanti popped up rather than the assault whatever.

Gozanti would be insane. But problem is scale I think. In rebels it appears to be just a wee bit bigger than the ghost. Would ghost be an epic ship then? Gozanti large base not huge?

Since Punishing One and Havok are in Armada, they seems likely to be the next 2 scum ships. There will be a riot of the imperial ship isn't the Assault Gunboat. I have no idea what will happen with rebels, the most obvious choices are fat turrets, which may cause an even bigger riot.

This is the most likely scenario I have heard. Maybe some rats will jump ship, no big loss.

I'm saying wave 9 will be force awakens. I think the ships for this wave will be the Jumpmaster 5000, the rebels will get the Scurgg, imperials will get XG-1 and then thers's a wild card 4th ship

According to Wookiepedia, the Gozanti is 41.8 meters. By comparison the GR75 Transport is 90 meters, whereas the Decimator is 38 meters. Sounds (barely) large base to me.

I am REALLY hoping for a couple aces packs. 3 aces packs with one whole pack for each faction would be great.

The gozanti has scale issues. Legends length is 41.8 meters. Canon length is 63.8 meters. Some people have compared the images in rebels with the known size of the TIE fighters it is carrying and determined that it really should be something like 75 meters long.

If it gets made, it will almost certainly be to the canon size of 63.8, but if they stick with the 1/270 scale of the fighters, so that TIEs docked to it will look right, the miniature will be bigger than the rebel transport.

There's no way its Decimator size compared to the Ties. Just think about it. Its twice as long as two tie fighters docked with a little space between. Therefore, at elast 5 ties long. Thats more like a little smaller than a transport. SEE. Just like the guy above said.

I say never for this its not designed for space flight it can barely seal the cockpit for sub orbital combat, unless FFG see the need to do another game for sub orbital combat including at-at's etc then it would not be x-wing.... if that game turns up remember who suggested it FFG!

Now as to what will be revealed I suspect FFG will have a big box of pre production mini's at the show and will be scouring the forums to find out what people want then throw something wild in there too.

if they release the Frayt Fang though I will instantly switch to Scum and judging by the large number of Falcons becoming available that mould seems to be out and ready to use!

I don't think they can show what they have planned for Force Awakens stuff until the movie is out to avoid spoilers. But My guess will be the new x-wing, the Falcon with the new dish, a new TIE fighter.

So once again, all the excitement for newly released stuff is going to be overshadowed by new spoilers for the NEXT wave.

FFG spoiled almost all of Wave 7. This Christmas joy is gone and we're looking forward to the Easter basket.

for me it's a visual thing. I don't actually care if they have carrier rules for deploying them mid game (though if they can come up with a way to make that relevant, bonus), I want the scales to match so that I can model the TIEs to the underside and have it look correct.

And until they're deployed you don't need to worry about the Gozanti running over and destroying them when it banks.
