Yeah. Between conner nets, plasma torps, and AHMs I am actually a little worried that they may have gone too far in countering the big ships.
Probably not though. It will certainly make a dent though.
Edited by ForgottenloreI think AHM and bombs somewhat favor a high-PS ship to carry them, but their presence will push back against that trend and towards cheaper high-ps ships like Wedge or Jake.
Advanced Homing Missile is going to be nasty against Epic ships. The Crits those ships get are just brutal.

Can't shake the feeling that something feels wrong. Targeting Computer, 2pts; Advanced Targeting Computer, 5pts. Proton Torpedoes, 4pts; Advanced Proton Torpedoes, 6pts. Homing Missiles, 5pts, Advanced Homing Missiles, 3pts?? Not saying the AHM should be 7pts then, but it seems a bit odd.
On an entirely different note, I rather like the Crackshot upgrade. You know your attack result, you've seen the opponent's defense dice.. so right when you want it, basically a free extra damage. Also means we'll soon have 3 discardable 1pts EPTs (crackshot, adrenaline rush, lightning reflexes).. it's stupidly niche and thus unlikely to ever occur, but it'd be fun to have a pilot that could equip one of those, while not having to discard it after the first use - extra munitions basically. Ah well, one can always play with a nice TIE Defender to koiogran turn after turn after turn after turn...

Yea looking at Blount and 2 greenies all with Adv Homing Missile and Crackshot leaves 33 points for another ship. Might be worth trying out
The best thing about Crack Shot is that your defender will have to spend tokens to get an extra evade and then you choose not to use it. Oh you chose not to spend an extra token? Stealth Device gone!

I actually see Crackshot getting more play on lower PS ships that you can't justify spending the extra points to get something like Predator for. Tokens will probably already be stripped by that point and Crackshot is being blown to squeak enough damage through to kill the target or a critical in hopes of getting something debilitating.

K wing has SLAM should be fine. Its a slow lumbering ship but has SLAM as its extra get up and go.

The generic K's will be pretty solid with that dial. I don't know about trying to build a Miranda regenerating TLT when you don't have hard 3's or a 4-forward, though.
I'm really glad I didn't have to fly against this card with my Aggressors.
Brobots are in kinda a weird place. They are both high agility arc-dodgers and large tough ships. the question is, what aspect of the AHM are you glad that you didn't have to fly against? Is it the damage getting though the shield or is it having to fly with the the early critical effect on you? If the former, that indicates it would be good vs small nimble ships, if it is the latter, that shows it is good vs big tough ships.
The short answer is: both.
Aggressors are more fragile than they seem. Any damage that gets through is bad - be it shield damage or hull damage - and they are some of the most crit-averse ships in the game. Almost every card in the crit deck is bad for an IG.

If a ship is on the border of range 1 and 2 can I still use an advanced homer on it?
You measure range from closest point to closest point in arc (or not, for turrets). That is the range. Period.
Can anyone confirm, do the K-Wing and Punisher only have 1 of each bomb token? And does the Punisher really not come with a target lock set? (No target lock pictured in preview articles, not that I really need any more).

wonder if it allows for Razzi to double use her ability. Once as a HT and once as a Z. if shes not stressed gets a TL, can she reduce agi by 2 Simultaneous fire rules would have to apply i imagine.
I'd say no, because it would require her to have taken the target lock action twice.
I don't see why she wouldn't be able to. It's a different ship that hasn't taken any actions yet.
The Pup doesn't deploy until after the Hound's Tooth has been destroyed. That means the Pup won't be deployed until after the Hound's Tooth has fired.
From page 16 of the rules, under the Simultaneous Fire section:
After this ship has had its opportunity to attack this round, it is immediately destroyed and removed from the play area.
