The idea of the countermeasure is good, but having to discard the card in the action phase makes it utterly irrelevant.
3 Points to add one agility and remove a target Lock for a one time use.. No Wonder it never sees use!
The card should be rewritten as follows:
"Action (Focus): Spend focus token blah blah blah.."
This way you get to use the card once every round, but you have to commit an action to it, which keeps it balanced. It also makes you think hard about whether to use the engine Upgrade or not. Right now the simply has NO relevant modifications Beyond engine Upgrade. My suggestion would make the Choice more interesting and there are valuable synergies from it`s interaction With the other Upgrade slots.
