Does anyone have a picture, or some kind of model comparison between the Assault Frigate and the upcoming Home One? I´m interested whether the Assault Frigate will still seem "oversized" next to Home One.

So... almost twice the length... Let me see if I can get them in perspective in a picture.

Hmmmm I had it wrong I must of been looking at the wrong sizes for ships. . .

A medium base is 4.015" and a large base is 7.559".. . Wow

No I was not wrong. Here is what's in the RRG.

So a Large ship is wider than a Small ship is long... For bases, anyway...

So a large ship is wider then the EMPIRE length of a small ship. . .

At 129mm X 76mm the large ships are 5.078" long by 2.992" wide. . . I am pretty sure that means large ships are almost distance 2 in width. . .

Those are old and busted base sizes, real ones are smaller as mentioned 76mm x 129mm base

Rules were updated, the smaller one is the correct size

Oh Hey! It was FAQd and Changed!

Size Class, p.11 The size of a small ship should read “43mm x 71mm.” The size of a medium ship should read “63mm x 102mm.” The size of a large ship should read “77.5mm x 129mm.”


We're ALL Wrong!

Scale will be kept quite well between those two. Its 700 to 1200/300 meters and about 100mm to 160mm. AFrigate will be only a bit too big next to it.

I'm very keen to see them side by side also (hopefully from GenCon pix)

Home One seems so sleek and thin, not the bulbous hefty mass it seems to be in the movies, whereas the AF is the opposite...

I know the AF is short and stubby, but I hope its "girth" doesn't put Home One to shame!

Drasnighta, you scaled up the models based on 192mm length for the large ships, while they're going to be 129mm, hehe. So about 30% longer than the medium instead of twice the size ^^

Lorewise, it would kind of make sense to be honest, but having a 19cm long base would be a pain to maneuver I'm not sure we'd be able to fit it in the deployment zone hehe.
