Hey all,

An idea occurred to me not so long ago where I could build a deck that focused on building a strong economy, then running R&D with Keyhole and slipping by Archives to pick up the points. I've thought about having a synergy with Eater, and just plowing through ice. I could build up creds early on for this purpose, or just run some stimhacks. Definitely having Vigil or Turntable would help, and including a Crypsis or Overmind or two would take care of Archives. I'm really liking this idea so far, but the only problem is deciding what identity to use and what other cards to include, since I don't know a lot of threats currently against this idea.

I'd appreciate some feedback, and just thoughts on the idea. Thanks.

Reina and Valencia are most commonly used with Eater-Keyhole decks. Not sure how Turntable helps you, most just run Desperado or Vigil.

Beware that a lot of people have figured out how to beat Keyhole. Crisium Grid very, very much neuters the deck unless you can parasite the R&D ice to death. Vamp and Account Siphon are typically used to help control that Corp rezzing ice along with parasite to keep easy entry.

You'll definitely want Crypsis (and maybe mimic) to bust in and get rid of Crisium.

Alright, thanks for the tips. I will probably run Valencia with this deck, she seems like the best money saver for me. I think I will also focus on running HQ if R&D is completely locked down. Definitely Blackmail, too. That should get me past R&D ice one or two times, especially with Valencia.

Bear in mind you can't Blackmail *and* Keyhole.

Nooooope. Blackmail is there for runs on remote servers, don't waste it on R&D unless you have a huge dig (Medium with lots of counters/lots of R&D Interface). As a consequence to this, kill Executive Boot Camp the second you see it....it ruins you game.

Basically never run on ice up remote servers and use Blackmail when you think that they've dropped an agenda into the server.
