G9 Rigger Deckplan

By Xyd, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Still looking at this (especially now that my players will be getting this ship next session) and there's something I just can't wrap my head around.

The official stats are as follows:

Length: 34,1m
Width: 16,97m
Height: 15,73m (outrigger extended)

Now, this makes me suspect that the length and width numbers are actually switched.

The ship is definately wider than it is long if you include the wing on the right side of the ship.
One could argue that the wing isn't included and that it's just the hull, but then the height is off, since the hull definately isn't wider than the ship is high, with the outrigger extended.

So I think I'm going to proceed under the assumption that the Length is actually the Width in this case.

You can also use the escape pod in one of the episodes fits in the Rigger cargo hold. With plenty of room to spare.

Don't remember that episode. Can you be specific?

Also, Anakins jedi starfighter fits in the cargo hold, albeit at an angle. And that's 8 meters long.

This whole thing seems a bit off. I did tweet at Leland Chee about it, but I'm highly doubtful he'll answer.

Its from season 1 the first couple episodes. They are looking for Grievous's ship with the giant ion weapon. The one with Plo Kloon and the clones getting Rescued by Anakin. They pull the escape pod in.

Hmm... Since I only forced my way through the series once (didn't really like it), I don't remember the specific episode.
But I have downloaded all of them again just to watch them for the G9 riggers appearances.

What book(s) feature this ship?

Also, as we've seen a Jedi starfighter able to fit in the cargo hold, would a Z-95 Headhunter fit inside a G9 Rigger? (I'm terrible at trying to figure out dimensions on my own.)

Thanks in advance for the assist.

The G9 Rigger is in Force and Destiny Core Rulebook.
