*sigh* Wish I could afford Cosmographer...
Unfortunately, it seems all useful software like that is prohibitively expensive. (and it seems there's no "other" way of getting it either)
So no custom starship deckplans for me.

Cosmographer is not that bad pricewise. $85 to get Campaign Cartographer 3 and Cosmographer 3. The hard part for me is the time to get your map looking right.
Thanks so much for making this deckplan!

I am assuming you mean. https://secure.profantasy.com/products/cos3.asp
Its only about $40. I understand that can be a lot of money just for a glorified paint program. but "prohibitively expensive". Is there something I am missing?
Cosmo 3 needs Cartographer 3 to use since its an addon.
For both, downloadable only it comes to around - $63 (57 euro for me, there abouts) but if someone wants the product shipped its a lot more.

Yeah, maby I should have lead with the fact that I've been unemployed for the last 15 years

Yeah, I would have bought it if it was JUST the cosmo 3 price... but both is way too expensive for what I get out of it.

PC only. Doesn’t help anyone on any other platform.
Awesome deckplan. Especially now that this is the "main" ship in F&D.
I was looking at making couple of adjustments to fit my group. Any chance you could share the Cos3/CC3 file?
it's for personal use ony.

Could you PM me as well?
I just bought CC3 & Cos3
I'll just leave the link here for anyone that wants it - https://www.dropbox.com/s/6ch1rxo10ha35ub/G9%20Rigger.zip?dl=0
Thanks for the file, here is my variant. I’ve turned the top deck into a living quarters area, with the lower mostly dedicated to engines and cargo.

Thanks!
The plan was to let the players go through the beginner adventure and capture the Krayt dragon, but then having to get rid of it since it's a stolen ship (and pretty "hot" to boot).
And since the cheapest light freighter I could find was the G9, they'll probably end up with that.
Fantastic job.
Hmm... was looking at the G9 Rigger a bit more today, and I just get the feeling that your deckplan (whilst very nice) is a bit small.
Here are some pictures of the G9 Rigger that Anakin Skywalker used, with cutaways and an interior drawing of the bridge:
I'm probably going to make mine bigger on the inside, than your deckplans show.
Ok, this is just gettin weird.
So, the G9 Rigger is cited as 34.1 meters long in Canon (width and height not cited in Canon).
The YT-1300 is cited as 34.72 meters long in Canon (ok, not the YT-1300 specifically, but the Falcon is).
So the G9 Rigger is almost exactly 0.5 meters shorter than a YT-1300.
Now, the Falcon's (I'll be using that since that's the only one with all the numbers on Wookieepedia) is 25.61 meters wide and 8.27 meters tall (inc. guns and dish).
So, to me, that would mean that the G9 is pretty massive in comparison.
With the wing on its side, it should be alot wider than the YT-1300 and even without the (apparantly added) extending wing below, it should be substantially taller than the YT-1300.
Yet the numbers on Wookieepedia (and all other sources I can find) cite it as 16,97m wide and 15,73m tall (with the wing extended below).
That doesn't seem to mesh with the comparison of the YT-1300.
So is the 16.97 meters width just the hull, and not the wing?
And what would the height be without the extending wing mounted underneath (which is apparantly an addon for the Twilight that Anakin owned)?
I think I'm going to only go by the length of the ship and use the rest "to scale" instead.
But that's gonna take a bit of effort.
Regardless, it seems the Rigger should be alot more spaceous than they are on the floorplan made by you (Xyd) and certainly massively more spaceous than a standard YT-1300.
If you want a larger scale you don't have to change the layout of the decks, you can just make the objects smaller.

This is true, but I'd have to figure out the correct scale
Still, I'm going to try using this image as the "hull" and just put the deckplan on top:
The best way to get scale would be to overlay a grid. If you take the D&D approach and assume each square is 5 feet, then you can see how big your objects should be.

That was the plan
Although, I'll be working in meters.
If you need a point of reference for dimensions, the Delta-7 Jedi starfighter is listed as being 8 meters long and can just (barely) fit in the Twilight's cargo bay.

Yeah, I was going to check out the length of that and use it for reference, thanks
(Had used the clone trooper length of 1.83 for rough measurments)

I believe someone (can't recall who) on this forum made a good point, stating, "It's a bad idea to correlate and connect certain aspects of a rpg against the official canon..."
I think it comes down to personal preference but if you wanted to scale it using the official figures (which are probably sketch at best) you'll probably end up with a massive image that ends up not suiting or adapting well to the gameplay. Before I made the deckplan for this, I was using a much smaller G9 Rigger deckplan that was made by someone else. But one of my players made the arguement that it should be 50% bigger compared to the official pictures, so I made my own (and also liked the idea of continually modding my own) but as I stated, I'm not a perfectionist and I don't aim to scale things up according to their official stats. I merely scaled it up as to what I felt was appropiate for the game and the players, and they were quite happy with that.
Although saying that I'm playing through Fantasy Grounds, so my own image limits is kinda based on that. If you aim to actually print it out if your playing tabletop then I can definitely understand why it would be too small for you.
