While I like most other ships, I'm really not a fan of the Aggressor design.

Since I'm considering buying into the Scum Faction next, I'm already looking for ideas to modify it or maybe even find a proxy for it.

I hope this question is allowed in a FFG forum, since I'd buy the original product anyway for dials, cards and upgrades.

Bonus question: would modells from other producers be allowed at official tournaments? As far as I remember modifying the ships is allowed, but I'm not sure about proxies.

If I'm recalling it correctly, /re-painted/ models are allowed at official tourneys, but changing the shape is a no-no.

As for proxy suggestions, the YQ-400 comes to mind.

Just checked the tournament rules about that and you're right, changing the shape isn't allowed. Thanks for pointing out before I invest some money into something I can't use then ...
