But i played once the edge of empire beginner box and i had a lot of fun , the people was nice and they teached me i have to thank them btw.

Now i wanted to continue playing this at roll20 or something , but i dont know anyone ...

MY "specs:" no microphone , no webcam , can play from 11 AM -12 PM Lisbon timezone.... so please , if some GM let me join them with my "specs" i would be thankful

i can play age of rebellion or edge of empire or force and destiny , i dont mind , i just have to get a blast again playing this because i love SW world !

highly recommend you getting at least a mic. whenever i have played on roll20 webcams have never been used, but thats not to say that some groups wont use them.

We have a few fun games going on over at the d20radio forums. You have to be a member to access the PbP subforum, and starting a game is as easy as posting a new topic, getting players, and starting to play!

There isn't a dedicated PbP Forum here, but we could just as easily start a game up, as long as it was kept to an OOC Thread and an IC Thread. Would just have to trust people to not try and hijack the IC thread

Friends & Nemeses seems to have a good thing going on, and they run a pretty tight ship, which is nice.

In my experience there are too many layers of subforums there to try and wade through (there's a weird universal character review forum, and then each game has its own OOC, IC, Character Database, and House Rules forums in which they place their individual threads). IMO it's difficult to navigate, so I'd prefer a slightly more simple approach, maybe by just using one main forum for a game. That might be possible if one were setting up their own game there. You can post a request to start a game here http://nemeses.freeforums.org/game-listings-f27.html and see how it goes! And maybe I'm the only one that dislikes all the nested forums But as an active forum dedicated to PbPs, it could work for you.

In any case, if you're looking to start a game, I'd recommend...

1) using good syntax and punctuation,

2) not trying to introduce a crap ton of house rules or multiple paragraphs of background story (this is information dump), and

3) being extra clear (but congenial & lenient) on expectations regarding player activity & conduct.

And there are plenty of people giving advice on the web as to how to run a successful PbP. As long as you listen to the more popular voices (Google search it, look for "upvoted" comments and the like), you should be fine

i can't be a GM since i dont even have the books or game master kit to run it , but i would like to join as a character in some game where the GM is good and use official rules and etc.

Why no mic? A simple headset is cheap as chips these days. About 10USD and you'll be ready to rock. It'll be kinda flimsy, so you'll have to take care of it, but it'll get the job done.

Or are you like one of my players that had to get a fancy wireless headset because she kept getting her feet wrapped around the cable and then would walk away?
