Look forward to seeing the new and improved video.
Armada Tactics News: How does it work: Targeting
It wouldn't matter because that arc as LoS with the yellow dot and the range ruler.
Now I can very likely be wrong but I am pretty sure that the Assault Frigate has LoS because they arc travel through the rear arc of the VSD and the LoS is there because the yellow dot can see the yellow dot while never crossing a hull zone of the defender.
If I am wrong please correct me on this. If you are saying that I used the range ruler to hit the closest corner of the VSD from the Assault Frigate. . . Ohhh now I see it. Had to take a look at the FAQ portion again.
So what I did was I did not ignore the section of the VSD that was outside the arc.
As per the first FAQ's addition of Measuring Firing Arc and Range: When measuring attack range for a ship, ignore any portion of the defender that is outside the attacking hull zone’s fring arc, even if that portion is at a closer range.
That is not a new addition to the FAQ, I missed it before. This will be fixed and. addressed in my remake of this. Thank you err404
Measuring range in arc was in added with FAQ 1.0. FAQ 1.1 further modifies it under LoS rules for some reason. Now range measurements can not cross another arc on the defender.
Frankly I liked the old way from the RRG that you used. But for a teaching video, you should follow the current changes.
