Creating a "round" turn aid

By Uvatha, in Talisman

Need some help with this, I was thinking a creating a game aid for talisman that has pictures of all the cards that have a "round" limit and a amount of counters so during a game players can easily see what effects are in play, how long they have remaining. I can put a night and day marker too and a place to put lunar events and other cards that stay in play too.

Has anyone got a list of all the talisman cards that stay in play for x rounds and all the talisman cards that remain in play eg Howl of the wendigo. Now I know I can do this myself but knowing me I would miss a few end up doing it and then look like a *** when someone says "you missed this one" and I know a lot of learned talisman gamers have spreadsheets and word text lists of talisman cards. So has anyone got a list?

You could search the Talisman Wiki for 'round'.

So...

Blizzard

Hex

Prophesy

Dark Denizens

Temporary Change

Divine Protection

Fortune's Fool

Dragon Fury

Crowded Streets

Discount Day

Festival

Does anyone know if there is any from The Harbinger?

Uvatha, may I suggest that you consider leaving some room and blank picture for future expansion including cards that can have this effect, easier to update later.

Btw, for decades now, we were using tokens from another game on the card itself to keep track of turns but I like your idea, seem to me much neater and convenient.

Cheers.

Yeah that's a great idea but sometimes even with a good amount of players its still hard to remember all the effects in a game. I mean they are on the board but its easy when new effects come into play to just forget, don't know how many times I've and fellow players have forgotten blizzard or dark denizens.. Annoying drawing 3 adventurer card and resolving all but the last then someone says "What about Dark Denizens" "oh %#^@".

Trying to come up with a aid that sits at the side and by a quick glance everyone know whats in effect or not, really a remembering aid which can be updated quickly when new sets are released.

I use dark fate tokens between the players for the rounds. 1 round = 1 dark fate token. Discard 1 dark fate token per round: They are like a new player in the game. It helps a bit.

Player 1 -> P2 -> P3 -> dark fate tokens for Dark Denizens -> P4 -> P5 -> P1
