Ten Numb list, new player

Hi everyone.

I am new to the game, so far I have only played 2 games. Basic strategy behind this list is to slow one of the oponents ships and gang up on it.

Ten Numb ( B-wing) PS8

  • Mangler cannon
  • Veteran instincts
  • Fire-control system

Airen Cracken (z-95) PS8

Lieutenant Blount (z-95) PS6

  • Ion Pulse Missiles

Gold Squadron Pilot

  • BTL-A4
  • Ion cannon turret

So what do you guys think?

Not sure that Blount is essential to your list's success. I would drop him in favour of an a-wing, personally. Also, not sure that Airen is really doing much for you. If you do keep him, I would consider putting Vet. Instincts on him so he can pass an action to Numb if needed.

Also, if you have access to R3-A2, its really great on your y-wing. Too good to pass up, really.

So here's something I would prefer to run (imho):

Ten Numb w/ VI, mangler & FCS = 38

Blue squad = 22

'stress hog' (gold squad w/ BLT-A4, R3-A2 & ion turret) = 25

proto pilot w/ chardaan refit = 15

100

Less control than your list, but more solid firepower. If you wanted a bit more control, you could always drop the a-wing for a bandit z-95 and use the 3 points to add either ion cannon or E2 mod + tactician on your blue squadron b-wing

I like that, but Autoblaster is a very good idea for ten numb, maybe downgrade airen to a tala squad with ion pulse missiles and put autoblaster on Ten Numb.

I am unimpressed with IPM, but love Blount with Assault Missiles.

Pity Assaults are fairly poor in the two-ship tango.

thanks a lot for your ideas. I have played 3 games with this list today and it performed very well. But I still made few modifications. Ten Numb needs more manuverability, so I gave him Advanced sensors and Engine upgrade. Y-wing performed well and btl-a4 upgrade is awsome. I would like to try out my Y-wing with autoblaster to make it even more deadlier. Finally, I have switched Cracken for A-wing.. mainly out of curiosity, since I have never fielded A-wing. Blount did so well that I just can not make changes to him.

you might want to drop the R2 mech to put Veteran instincts back on Ten Numb

Also, Autoblaster turret works better without the Title, because with only range 1, its very difficult to make use of it when its forward facing only.
