Trying a different list.....

By darkevans, in X-Wing Squad Lists

So i'm at the point where I know i can fly these fat turrets and do really well in my FLGS casual tourneys but i feel like flying the same thing gets a little boring. I tried a double defender list last weekend that i had high hopes for but i had dead dice in two of my three games and got destroyed. I came up with this list by mix and matching some things together and just wanted to get your opinions on it. Thanks again!

ORS 27, Intell Agent 1, Navigator 3, APL 2 = 33

WSF 30, Mangler 4, Chewy 4, APL 2 = 40

Gray Squad 20, ICT 5, BTL, Stressbot 2 = 27

Could be fun!

Instead of Chewie, why not throw another Navigator in the mix to block as much as possible?

Stressbot on the Gray, Y's don't have a lot of green to shed that stress. It's basically a self-ion.

Few options with the Gray if you drop the stressbot. Get R2-D6 and Expert Handling for some arc correction.

Or drop the Gray to Gold and change R3-A2 to R7-T1, again for repositioning (still points left over for Chewie if you wish).

The Stresshog doesn't care about actions. You basically got to say to yourself that your Y-wing will never action for the rest of the game.

I'd honestly upgrade to Eaden Vrill if you are running a stessbot. You'll find that it will likely keep your target stressed giving you a cheap 3 attack turret.
