I currently use the 420 and I've been thinking the same thing and it appears that I have as much as you (more or less). I was adding up just generics without upgrades and if you put in the Huge/Epic ships I'm a fair bit over the 400 point mark for both sides. Maybe I could cut back and limit my kit since I only play casually.
