Got my notice from MM yesterday. Tracking number says I'll get it a week from today.
I've only ordered from MM once before (because of recommendations from this forum), for Fly Casual, and the delivery time was excellent. I'm a little curious what happened this time.
I always order Priority from MM because the discounts are so deep I still come out with savings. So takes 2, 3 days tops.

It wasn't a pre-order, they just had one F&D Corebook and one Game Master's Kit. Note the word "had". =)

I picked up the Core Book and GM Kit / Screen at the flgs during lunch today.
Picked up mine, along with a copy of Far Horizons from my FLGS. Already like the little section concerning artifacts of the force, though I haven't had a proper read of it yet.
See the annoying thing is seeing as I'm all the way in New Zealand I can't go to my local store that sells RPG stuff to actually check that (partly cause they don't have it). I have to order it online and it doesn't give me any of that info sadly. The only info I can get is the ISBN number. So I don't want to fork out the cash for a older printing when I'm trying to get the new one.
The only way to guarantee you're getting the latest printing, then, is to order directly from FFG. They'll always have the latest printing. If you order from Amazon or another online retailer, there's no way to know which printing they have unless you have someone at the company look for you. (I've done this once or twice with Miniature Market.)
Zoe and her art staff don't get paid enough.

If Minis Market is using FedEx for shipping, then the long waits are the fault of FedEx. According to FedEx, a shipping time that normally takes 4 days tops for USPS or UPS is now going to take over a week, as the book I ordered from CSI shipped on Tuesday and isn't due to arrive until this coming Wednesday at the earliest.
There's several reasons I don't do business with FedEx if I can help it, and screwed up delivery times like that are one of them.

Yes, it was at Myth Games in the NE of Calgary. Best thing is that I had points (thru their points program) to use,so saved myself $20.00 for the book and screen. Great promotion if you purchase lots from them and save up your points. They still had five copies of each left when I got mine this afternoon.
Snagged the last core rulebook on the shelf at Coliseum of Comics in Kissimmee, FL. Sadly no GM Kit to be had.
The FedEx truck pulled up to my house at 10:37 this morning.
That shipment from CoolStuff including F&D was a welcome distraction today!

CSI shipped my book and kit on the 28th but had fed ex sending it to local post office which added at least a day. Not sure if they do that to save costs but shipping kinda high and defineately making a profit off shipping since it no way cost the $10.

That's not new. That was introduced during the beta. The Agressor Terrify talent is still the only one at this time, but I'm sure they wanted to call out such talents for future books using the sidebar.
The one thing I noticed and like are the little sidebars on each of the lightsaber techniques in each of the careers.

See I placed it several weeks ago and nothing. And the shipping was 90$, almost as expensive as the books I ordered. I'm sure I'm going with another store next time.
