Got Mine today. I won't be able to really check it out until the weekend.
Anyone have the Core book yet?
Placed my order today on MM... now if only I could find a group in my area to play
FedEx is delivering the Core book and GM kit to me TODAY! Even though I live in the far, far away place of Norway! Yay for expensive international shipping!
Picked mine up yesterday. Absolutely loving this book thus far, as I'm reading through it. Even has some awesome force lore (covering Sith and Jedi history including the legendary stuff, Darth Bane ftw!).
Darth Bane is canon, his Force ghost appears in season 6 of The Clone Wars.
Well, someone had to say it!
In the most recent Order 66 podcast I've listened to, Max Brooke (author of Desperate Allies) confirms that all content is consulted with LFL. Personally I like to think that (at least since the beginning of Disney era and the "new" canon) the actual status of SWRPG information is at least "pre-canon" as in "pre-approved on the basis of some future plans to include it in the new canon", rather than simply Legends. I prefer to think about it this way

Canon compatible. As in, there's nothing in the RPG that's going to jarringly contradict what appears in the canon, so if you are a canon-conscious GM, you can confidently use the people and places in the source books without worry.

Disney probably treats the gaming line (table-top, not computer gaming) as "Legends" anyway. Gamers are going to do things that they can't regulate, nor would they want to. The RPG by itself is an alternate universe of sorts, with practically zero chance of anything occuring in a game or game books as being considered canon. Not even the adventures can be considered canon, since their outcome is dependent on who's playing that particular day and how the dice roll.
I like the fact that FFG draws on a lot of Legends lore, but I would never expect anything FFG comes up with (or puts in the book) to be made official. "LFL Approval for Legends" is about the best we can hope for.
Back on topic...GOD I hope I get a call today saying my reserved copy is in!
Edited by DarthGMTrue Phil, but wouldn't it be amazingly awesome if the Imperial Raider (which FFG said they co-designed with LFL) made it's way into a post-ROTJ comic, novel or (heavens forfend!) even a movie!
There's precedent for stuff from previous games making it into the canonical stories like Clone Wars and Rebels, so you never know!

Or, you know, the RPG.
OMG do you canonites ever STFU!?! Does every freaking thread have devolve into a discussion of canonicity!?! It scares me to think how you folks live your lives in the real world! Do you have to have a set of instructions and guidelines for everything you do in life handed to you from a higher authority!?!
Now back to hearing about all the new books! Which btw I ordered mine from Amazon should be here in about a week.
Not to brag, but my FLGS just got theirs in!

Hmmm, no notice from MM yet.

Throttle back there, chief. No need to freak out. While I'm a little jaded about the whole matter, it does matter to some folks. Doesn't mean you have to give them both barrels from your Conflict canon. (<- see what I did there?)
In other news: just got the phone call from my FLGS that my copy is in.
ABOVE: May or may not be GM Phil en route to FLGS
( I wonder how much Conflict it is to Influence my boss to let me get out of work early...?)

So purrty! (I really dig FFG's production standards).

That perfectly explains why Age of Rebellion sticks to the story that Vader's secret apprentice was the key to forming the Alliance... FU indeed.

Zoe and her art staff don't get paid enough.
(NOTE: I have no concept what they're actually paid, and hope to the Maker that they are content with their earnings. )

Actually I'm glad about that, as one of my long running storylines had the PCs chasing down the final resting place of the Rogue Shadow

They have started shipping from Miniature Market, so keep an eye out later today. Yours just might have been one of the orders they didn't get to yesterday. They said they had a lot of preorders for the book so it might take a day or two to process everything and ship them out. Mine's in transit so they'l be on the way very soon.

Every time I check my order status and find it's still processing, an Inquisitor kills an Order 66 holdout.
If my FLGS doesn't get this in soon I'm going to start killing Bothans.

My order with MM is stuck on "Processing" too And I've preordered a long time ago.

Just got my shipping notice. Caleb Dume will live to see another day.
