what would be the "go-to" option cards when playing faction. i would say, push the limit but i'm not sure of the others. also, please explain han solo's ability. it seems to contradict itself.

Han's ability lets you reroll dice, but you have to reroll all of them, excluding individual dice that have already been rerolled, you must reroll all 3. If your rolled a crit and 2 blanks, you can't keep the crit and just reroll the blanks. If you opponent used Sensor jammer to turn a hit into a focus result, you can't reroll that die with han's ability. There's a few other ways that limit Han's ability.

You must reroll all your dice that can be rerolled, but any die cannot be rerolled more than once. Like he said, if you get crit/blank/blank, and you activate his ability, you MUST reroll the crit. Also, if you have an ability like Predator. Let's say you roll, then you reroll one die with Predator, but your roll does not improve. You can activate his ability, but at this point you can not reroll the die that you already rerolled. It's not as redundant as it sounds. You just have to consider the rules of dice modification.

Go-to EPT cards: VI on high PS craft; Predator, Outmanouver, PTL, and occasionally Lone Wolf. Autothrusters, Engine Upgrade, Stealth Device (on an Interceptor). As for titles, pretty much anything that's free + Moldy Crow and occasionally Millenium Falcon. ;) Other slots? Sky's the limit. HLC is pretty popular, all of the bombs are usable on the right ships, Systems slot is loaded with gold, and plenty of craft find a niche with some of the odder stuff. It really depends what your build is, and what you're trying to do.

Thing is, it depends on the ship. PTL is awful on a Y-wing, and Lone Wolf is terrible on Howlrunner. Ion Cannon Turret + BTL-A4 and R3A2 is a fantastic stressbot, whilst Tactician is potent on a B-wing, and even moreso when you're bringing multiples... yet a Y-wing with R3A2 and an Ion Turret flying beside Tactician B-wings is might actually be better off skipping BTL-A4 entirely, when you'd rarely dream of doing so flying it by itself.

You can't just slap the 'best' upgrades on a ship; you need to know what those points are meant to do for you and your squad.

PTL on an Soontir Fel is a safe bet, though. ;)
