Nice art work! Did you do these?

I'm confused, is this thread about finding FFG art from other products as a means of predicting future ships? Or just any art? The former sounds more productive.

The one with the preybird looks like it also has a conqueror, Aka, the Stinger in it, but given Guri is in the Starviper I think it is unlikely.

The TIE hunter has appeared a number of times as well, though I don't remember the specific pieces.

Nope, not my work - these are pieces from across the web, some used by FFG, some not.

It's just about compiling artwork - preferably from FFG or FFG publications - on ships that could possibly see the light of day in X-Wing. Not predicting as such, just pointing out what's out there.

Now, less words. More pictures.

Vader uses an eta-2 in Lords of the Sith to great effect. What's the timeline that FFG says they are targeting again?

GCW onward.

That's five years after the end of the clone wars so not gcw timeframe, also if it was so great why did he have the tie advanced made?

He was running short on credits for a few months, it got repo'd.

There's a few arguably legit reasons.

- Empire didn't want to rely on astromech droids and hyperdrive rings

- Cost to maintain an aging model may not have been worth it to keep in proper form, individual parts may have become outdated and hard to find, like keeping an old muscle car in top form

- Change in what types of ships they were fighting may have been a driver- low-shielded super fast robot droids versus heavily armed and shielded rebel and planetary defense fighters

- Empire wanted all fighters to exhibit the same sort of image to really drive home the brand image through the TIE canopy (though the Eta-2 canopy was not incredibly dissimilar) and panel wings

- Bureaucracy completely outside of Vader's control (possibly tied to previous point)

- Desire to have new fighter used for the Inquisitors as well as Vader that was not as reliant on incredibly strong force-training (we don't know how force-strong the other inquisitors are yet but the Season 1 dude got beat by a guy who never really finished his training and a child who had barely started it, also my own personal speculation that characters similar to ones seen in Darth Vader comic might be IQs as well)

- Because the emperor said so

- Too many memories of the past (though this argument sucks since he's entire career at this point was driven by rage)

- Wanted to use torpedoes for some reason

God the vaksai looks so good, I know it's a kirhaxz variant but I hope they make it it's own ship for the game.

the Ghtroci is hereby officially renamed to "the space turtle"

Judging from my instinctive reaction to your sole "contribution" to this thread, yes... yes I believe it can.

Thanks for reposting the image, though!
