Hilde IS really good, her problem is surviving long enough to hit like a truck ^^. And in a very agressive meta like the current one it's not too easy, but still doable. Use Shadowar, Stand-Off, maybe Enemies Now Friends (my own little fav trick, cuz killing with a 9-11 damage Pommel Smash after a BIG attack just makes me laugh) and you get damage redux. Against Rasho, Brian Fury and Paid to Protect, use Pommel Smash, Hope for One's People, or hope to hell that your opponents messes up his turn.

Another card that surprised me yesterday was Nobility of the Wolf. That damage boost is nasty.

All of this Hilde discussion is interesting... I've placed her top tier in all tier listings I've posted, and there are a number of reasons for that.

She really doesn't have to kill or attack turn 2, and probably shouldn't against any character with 25+ vitality.

There is no doubt in my mind that she is one of the best characters in the meta, especially since she is such a hard counter to Astrid.

In any case, I wish I was able to hit up the SAS this weekend, becuase I would be running her and you would all see what my meta has had to see for a few weeks now, i.e. my final iteration Hilde first hand.
