So my FLGS is having their first X-wing tourney in a couple of weeks (summer kit, woot) and rather than show up with the ever popular Fat Han, bro bots, or Chewie-leebo, I want to show up with a unique list that complements one of the most underrated cards (imo) in the game: Imperial Boba Fett.
What I am struggling with is where to draw the line. Do I fully load Fett, to make a "Fat Fett", so to speak? Or would I be better off leaning Fett a little bit for a more favorable Tie pilot component?
Here are the two builds I am considering:
FAT FETT
100 points
PILOTS
Boba Fett (57)
Firespray-31 (39), Cluster Missiles (4), Ion Cannon (3), Seismic Charges (2), Calculation (1), Slave-1 (0), Engine Upgrade (4), Proton Torpedoes (4)
Academy Pilot (12) x 2
“Howlrunner” (19)
TIE Fighter (18), Veteran Instincts (1)
FETT BUILD 2
92 points
PILOTS
Boba Fett (50)
Firespray-31 (39), Ion Cannon (3), Slave-1 (0), Engine Upgrade (4), Proton Torpedoes (4)
Turr Phennir (30)
TIE Interceptor (25), Push the Limit (3), Autothrusters (2)
Academy Pilot (12)
TIE Fighter (12)
This build leaves allot of points left on the board.
I have tried to scroll through the forums to find a gleam of some insight on a decent build for him but I have yet to yearn any results. A little help please?
