No disintegrations! (Help wanted with Imperial Fett with a local store tourney on the horizon)

So my FLGS is having their first X-wing tourney in a couple of weeks (summer kit, woot) and rather than show up with the ever popular Fat Han, bro bots, or Chewie-leebo, I want to show up with a unique list that complements one of the most underrated cards (imo) in the game: Imperial Boba Fett.

What I am struggling with is where to draw the line. Do I fully load Fett, to make a "Fat Fett", so to speak? Or would I be better off leaning Fett a little bit for a more favorable Tie pilot component?

This build leaves allot of points left on the board.

I have tried to scroll through the forums to find a gleam of some insight on a decent build for him but I have yet to yearn any results. A little help please?

I would lay off on some of the secondary weapons. Heavy laser cannon is his best bet or maybe even an auto blaster to chase Soontir around. Engine, veteran instincts, and your choice of crew. Try something like EU, tactician, and HLC and go from there.

Not an expert as I've not used Imperial Boba (just Scum with his lovely re rolls) but I much prefer the second list. Way too much ordinance on the first.

Tweaking the second I came up with;

This is a considerable initiative bid as you really want to be handing initiative to the other guy so you can move second so you can reposition Boba and Fel based on their moves at PS 10 and 9. My thinking on Backstabber is just to be a nuisance. Any time your opponent is keeping arc on him, he isn't dealing with your real threats but if ignored can do decent damage for a basic Tie with 3 dice and 4 at range 1 if out of arc of the guy he is attacking.

Main problem is Fett will be rolling naked dice if he had to boost but with Tactician on board it's still causing your opponent problems, especially if he has someone that wants to Push the limit. He has to either not push or risk Boba landing a second stress on him which will ruin most PTL ships day.

An Imperial Boba that I've been itching to try is:

With Navigator, when Boba reveals a bank maneuver, he can rotate the dial to any bank maneuver of any speed. Add PS10 and EU, and I think he'd be great for hunting down high-PS arc dodgers (Soontir), or doing some arc-dodging himself.

The problem I have is filling out the rest of the list. 46 points is kind of a weird total for Imperials. Best I can come up with so far is:

for 99 points. I think this list should do pretty well against Deci-Fel, brobots, and other 2 ship builds.

Also going second list, although I'd swap the ion cannon and torps for a heavy laser cannon. With those extra points, you can throw Proximity Mines or Proton Bombs on Fett and a Stealth Device on Turr (the bombs will really help against arc-dodgers, and the mere threat of them can be hugely advantageous).

I would get rid of torpedos on boba and from that points upgrade AP to Mauler or Dark Curse.

Whisper (32)

Veteran Instinct (1)

Fire-control system (2)

Gunner (5)

Advanced Cloaking Device (4)

Total 44

The idea is to move first with whisper, therefore shoot first too, and move second with Boba at 10. The build as 98 points, so you go for initiative. With whisper being hard to kill and Boba that can possibly arc-dodge, even if that list got 6 hit points less than the Whisper/decimator build, I think it could be pretty good.

Vader itself is not THAT big of a treat. He would have to deal massive dmg to deci to kill whisper by himself. I you play it right he may not even have time to do it, cause good positioned whisper should deal at least 4 dmg to deci with one dmg in return (i assume you evade deci shots)
