Imperial build, first tournament

Looking at this list for a tournament tomorrow.

I would have more TIE advanced to protect Soontir.

Not really needed in my opinion. Vader does the job just fine but you got to keep him close. And frankly the two tie fighters and TI with Howlrunner is a good option.

I might drop Mauler Mithel for two more TIE fighters though. Mauler is great with Admiral Chirineau but without him he doesn't bring much to the table over a normal TIE.

Ended up placing 3rd (of 3) today - not as many people showed as expected.

Game 1 vs. Imperials
3x Victory II w/ Gunnery team, Admiral Motti

Objective - Advanced Gunnery

Only having 2 capital ships and so many points tied up with squadrons, I knew this was going to be hard. I tried my best to use my squadrons to damage one of his ships, but it just wasn't to be.

Ended up as a (pretty severe) loss.

Game 2 vs. Rebels

Assault Frigate Mk II B w/ electronic countermeasures, X17 Turbolasers, Intel Officer, General Dodanna
2x Nebulon B Escort Frigate

2x X-Wing, 2x Y-Wing, 2x B-Wing

Objective- Most Wanted

This time the squadrons really helped out, and I was able to completely lock his squadrons up so they couldn't attack my ships. I also lucked out by my opponent flying his Assault Frigate off the table. Still, I lost my regular Victory class, and the game ended up being a draw. I ended up 3rd, the Rebel player winning and the other Imperial player coming in 2nd.

First tournament, and only my 3rd game of Armada, so it was a fun time overall. Learned a lot, and have a better idea of how to play.
