Do you guys realize that both Facebook and Twitter are extremely dependent on how you choose to use them? Who you follow and what you choose to post makes a vast difference in the user experience. You can join Facebook and just follow local game stores and players, or you can follow every person you've ever heard of.

The same with Twitter. Are you tired of seeing tweets about what someone had for breakfast? Then don't follow them! The entire user experience is what you make of it.

Reading this debate makes me think of the old blind men trying to describe an elephant.
