I played two vanilla campaign games with 2 heroes and the Overlord won both times with very little effort. Seems like after Act 2 starts heroes are far too weak. Anyone else have this problem?

This is a common problem. A recent expansion, Heirs of Blood, came with a rule for two hero games where they receive an extra attack or may heal. It is helpful.

Thanks - I think I will allow an extra attack as a house rule.

I suggest reading the heirs of blood rules to get the exact rule.
