Why is it your favourite? How do you normally play it? How does it work?

ALL the questions!!! :D

Would you consider Contested Outpost for the Defense objective?

Hyperspace Assault forces you to split your Nebs apart, and that can be trouble when facing a mobile enemy. Contested Outpost would force your enemy to come to you, and would allow you to keep your Nebs together to benefit from Redemption. B-wings could just sit on the station and dare you opponent to approach...whether they are fighters or ships!

So the general way you play this is a jousting list and go 2nd, line your nebs up, throw the bwings in front, they can maintain there lead if you keep them at full 2 speed and you rolling in at 1 speed. run striaight at the enemy and then either ram or double speed to 3 and scoot past.

hyperspace assault : depending on the enemy makeup you either put salvation solo or yavaris and 2 bwings in. salv more vs rebs and yavaris vs imps.

mine fields: this lets you block of half the map with mines stop flanking.

most wanted : i get to pick the ship i want to kill easier, sure and you can have my redemption with extra heals!

holy ****!

someone else figured it out, too  .

really don't like Salvation without Raymus, though. Very much a die-fest without that re-roll.

definitely recommend hyperspace. It's just not fair with Yavaris + B-wings.

might switch out most wanted, which I'm still running, for opening salvo (apparently it's been errataed to only benefiting ships)

I use Dangerous Territory instead of minefield, almost entirely for the obstacle immunity because of how important flying in formation is (and how much of a wrench obstacles throw in it)

really don't like Salvation without Raymus, though. Very much a die-fest without that re-roll.

you could get the same by banking a squadron token on the first turn for one squadron 3 volley, and then vet captain for another

B-wings can be moved by any of the 3 nebs (even the support refit, which is basically an escort under Raymus) but only CF tokens will improve the reliability of Salvation's dicey ability

without Raymus, I'd say you'd just be better off forgoing Salvation for another escort. It's thus far the only title that has a decent chance of doing little to nothing at all (apart from Warlord, which really wants h9s)

If i fiddle with the squads, drop tycho or keyan for generics, which isnt the end of the world, i would actually put a Intel officer on salvation, being able to target there brace is way more beneficial and XI7 already screws redirects. + if they take the bait (happens alot) and do most wanted, all your ships vs the one your going to blow up ,have pretty much concentrated fire.

I've toyed around with adar tallon, as he's a force multiplier with elite pilots, for 10 points, you effectively get a elite for the price of a Y-Wing, but I think he's more for a gallant haven/yavris combo build then the triple nebs.

I dont like Opening savlo with this list either, 2 extra black dice is great, but it also means if that Demolisher gets on your side, you will have a much greater chance of Popping you, along with that you have 3 ships (respectable number) but not enough for opening IMO when you can run into up to 6 ships.

I haven't tried dangerous territory. i can see the benefit of ignoring the obstacles damage, with points just being a bonus. Although I don't like the fact my shots would be obstructed so would be playing to avoid that as well.

With squads, i wouldnt mind trying, tycho, awing, xwing ,xwing, bwing, bwing. (puts you on 299 points (81 squad)) gives you a more balance squads, tycho does the work of 2 awings, locking down one group for your xwings to come engage, then he can move out and lock down another group, while the bwings hyperspace assault or slow roll with the nebs.

xwings are't totally wasted if they bring minimum squads with the bomber they can still do respectable damage to ships.
