Hello fellas i have some questions related to the Black Crusade rules in the Tome of Decay book
1) How does the movement phase works? It says roll 1d10 for every such deployment. If the result is less than or equal to the number of Crusade Forces moved in this way, then one of the Crusade Forces being moved is lost in the Warp. So a Landing Party with 2 Hosts in it counts as 1 or 3? And also if 6 unit passes through this route the die rolls as First one = Auto Pass, Second One = 1 or less, the unit dies, Third One 2 or less, the unit dies dies etc. true?
2) About the Conflicts it says every Host adds 20 to Conflict Value Test but the territory has like 50 - 60 max strength. So if i stack 10 units to this location my forces will be unbeatable?
For now these are came to my mind. I want to understand the rules completely. So that's why i'm asking. Please help! Cheers ^^
Black Crusading Questions
1. A Landing Fleet with two Hosts would count as three Crusade Forces, so you'd roll a d10 and destroy something on a 3 or lower. (So 1 to 3.) At this point you'd randomly determine which of those three was destroyed. And if it were the Landing Fleet...well, the Hosts aboard would also be destroyed. Attrition hurts, though keep in mind that it only kicks in this way if you move Crusade Forces along two routes in a turn. Taking things slow and moving Crusade Forces one route per turn doesn't have any such problems.
2. If you get that many Hosts then you can overwhelm your enemy. Just keep in mind that actually getting that many concentrated in one place without stretching your lines elsewhere is supposed to be a difficult thing.
