Sorry for the dumb question. I would like to post some pictures. What. the. heck? Why is it so insanely hard? The help files say that there is a 'rich text editor' in my settings. If there is I can't find it.
Somebody tell me the obvious. How do you post a picture in this forum, or alternately, add something to this mythical 'gallery"?
I personally upload to Photobucket, then use the BB Code I get from Photobucket to post visible links... Cuts away all of the hassle for me.
I literally spent hours trying to figure out the same thing until I finally made an imgur account (which I now love for pictures). I was once magically able to upload a few small, low quality pictures to my "attachments" which I could never find again but you only are able to have a limited amount of space. I would highly recommend imgur. Then you can make unlimited images and galleries and just post the link. People can see the pictures full size too. It's super easy to upload, just drag and drop, no fancy bells and whistles while trying to navigate a new website.
I post my pictures to Facebook and then copy their view picture link.
Ditto on the Facebook idea. Uploading to your attachments only gives you 50 MB of space, and is a huge hassle to even find. Using a third party site is defiantly the best way to go. What you use is simply up to personal preference. I use Facebook simply because I already have one and don't have to set something up with YET ANOTHER website.

Photos from Wikis for what ever reason is not allowed on this sight. So often I use search by image site to find a similiar photo maybe one of a different side that is none wiki and post it.

So if it is on a wiki find a different picture. Or load the image to a hosting site like postimage.org
