My reaction was also that I was surprised how small they looked in comparison to the other stuff on the shelf. At least they look good!

I will update my thread with cards if they end up showing them, I'm sure others will do the same as well!
I had a brief chat with Steve Horvath, senior Vice President of Communication for FFG and he said they had hoped to have wave 2 at Gen Con but it didn't happen. He also stated to keep an eye on the website for announcements in the coming month, so at least we get some breadcrumbs.

There are pictures in another tread showing a VSD on the shelf next to the ISD... That thing is HUGE!

Both are small, shrimp beeing the largest (Longest as Gladiator has more bulk overall) small ship in the game.

You're right, it does look huge in that one, but I think that's perspective. Here, I've created a comparisons image that shows (very, very roughly) that the VSD is about 56% the length of the ISD without taking perspective into account. Since we know the length of the bases, it should be pretty easy to adjust the VDS's length to compensate for perspective. I'll do that later if I get time. My guess is the VSD is around 65-70% the length of the ISD.

Isn't the Liberty the same size (roughly) as Home One? Wookiepedia suggests if anything the Liberty Class has a slightly higher max length than the Home One Class. In which case I'd expect to see it on a Large, just like Home One.
Regarding ISD size, yes it might be the perspective but it doesn't matter the actual lengths or measurements. The photo shows that when you see it on the table it will be at odd angles and perspectives to other ships and it will look huge...

Which I believe is the point of the relative scale. It just has to be big enough to "look right".
Here's y'all banging on about gen con, I don't even know, what, when, where or who. But if there's toy spaceships involved, I'm excited.

Glad people have been liking my Instagram pics. I'll head back to the booth tomorrow to see if anything new is added (Wave 2 related).
Ended up playing two games of Legendary Encounters Predator today, but had to wait 1.5 hours for the Win a Box game due to terrible organization and line management. We didn't get screwed, they just didn't really know how to handle the crowd. This led to less picture taking today.

Nice. Now we have a better perspective on model sizes. Home One looks small compared to the ISD.

That VSD looks huge in the picture! Q4 can't come fast enough! =)
In the picture of Home One you can see a portion of the space shrimp above it (click on the picture and it zooms in)... it looks really good close up. Will be nice for the rebels to have a black dice throwing monster on their side.
