I know it's probably a non-starter, but I was wondering if there might be anyone that has multiples of the game (2nd Edition) and expansions who would be willing to part with some of the hero miniatures (and one monster mini)?

I've seen a couple of eBay which will probably be my only option, but thought I'd try here first (well, second as I have tried Customer Service to no avail).

I'm looking for the miniatures for a 'proxy' project, not related to Descent.

Well Tahlia, Andira, and Astarra are from the same expansion that Is basically itself a figure pack- Shiver is from another of those (as is Sahla), and Serena would be the cheapest from her LT pack ($12). Unfortunately the others are from big expansions, the most expensive type of expansion. Tarha is from the core game- she will probably be the hardest to find on her own.

I'm not sure how familiar you are with descent, but the first edition hero minis are very similar to the second edition minis, just with different sculpts. Unless there is a reason to need the exact pose, rugal's offer of first edition minis maybe shouldn't be dismissed. Tarha, Dezra, Logan, Ravaella, Serena, and the witcher do not have 1e versions.

I'm after the new minis as the poses are better suited to my needs.
