Very nice job on the repaints,
crisp and clear.
Have you ever tried using Ink Washes ?
The games Workshop citidal range do an excellent range of washes.
very simple but very effective.
and will give more depth and to your models.
just a suggestion of course.
as you may want them kept crisp and clean.
good job,
all the best,
Barry.
The prerequisite Black Leader repaint:
The Green Squadron repaint w/ A-Wing wingmen sporting some minor engine glow paint:
And then here's a TIE L/N that I repainted into a TIE F/O the day of the first TFA trailer and before FFG announced the inclusion of the F/O in W8:

Thank you
I am actually tempted to give them a few thin washes in devlan mud to give them a more tarnished look
Painted a Starviper and a G1-A
Painted a Starviper and a G1-A
love how that starviper looks
Indeed, looks very 'Tron'.
Playing in a "Top Gun" league at my FLGS where within a 30 point limit, we kit out a non unique small base ship, give it a cool call sign (but not Goose, Iceman or Maverick because reasons), 4 obstacles each and duke it out 1v1 over 60 minutes.
The TAP really appealed and "Boom Boom", The Red Baron was born!
In honour of the Rebels finale, I finally got my Ghost and Phantom repaints done.
And that is Wave 8 repainted!
Painted a Starviper and a G1-A
Those all look great!

The G1-A could be Clu's shuttle!
Wow! These repaints are amazing! Make me wish I could paint.
Painted these up yesterday, my grandfather was on the USS Gurnard in WW2 SS 254 and the other is the SS423 or Torsk which is the museum boat in Baltimore harbor. Next step is doing the shark teeth on the Torsk

What do you use for your numbering, decals or stencils?
SNIP
What do you use for your numbering, decals or stencils?
um, a paint brush.....
The way I do it is water down your paint to about 50/50 and then slowly build it up. also dont forget you can erase acrylic paint if you move quick!
The hard part will be writing GURNARD on the side. upper case R is a pain in the ass.

I love the reflections on the canopies. I want to try that but it looks so damned intimidating haha
Very nice! I love where you've put the steel details, I'll have to remember that style when I come to do mine.
Indeed, looks very 'Tron'.

Very true!
Here is a bunch of my other stuff in no particular order ha
I need some inspiration for my next project. I would like to repaint one of the epic ships. Anybody have any eu knowledge of nice paint schemes for any of them?

My personal favorite is this CR-90 from Rebels.

The Gozanti also has a cool paint sceme on the Vector card art, and I've seen someone do it before. Looked cool.
Edit:
I found it.
