While not technically a repaint what do you all think?
It looks great and would make an awesome objective marker (if anyone in the X-Wing world bothered to play narratively...grumble grumble) but that poor phantom
My CR-90 engines are done;
This was a pain. The masking reacted oddly to the spray in some areas and meant I had to re-do all of the ends of the engines, so now they are sort of grey. I also glued one of the engines on a bit wonky; not really noticeable to most people but it bothers to hell out of me. I have a real respect for whatever this plastic is because it is TOUGH!

Proper! I keep thinking I'll do similar with my phantom. I experimented with 3D cloaking lightning and ended up not liking it...and can't seem to fix it . yes I think replace and Smash the old one.

I really like what you have done with your A Wings.
Red7 - There was not, that I could tell... The Paint tried to go a little goopy, and needed an actual scrub.. But it came off.
So I dropped my twice repainted A Wing into the rubbing alcohol...... and all of the repainted paint was off of the model in less than a minute!!!!

Finally finished off the Skyshark Squadron and received my copy of Rebel Ace's through the post. Having now seen an official FFG A-Wing,I'm sad to report,that the MM A-Wings are far too big unfortunately.
Nice looking squad.

Red 7,I would estimate that the MM models are around 30% bigger than the 'real' ones,which I suppose you could use as the prototype version without the missile rack and the MM ones as the full production run models.
I may line-in the panels on the Ace model,but I don't know yet if he'll receive a full repaint.
