Yes your right, Camo doesn't seem right on most of the Star Wars vehicles.

Although the Rebel landing party do wear carky camo gear on Endor.

And the idea behind these ships is they are a group of Mandolorians protecting there home world.

But mostly as a nod to the greatest looking attack helicopters ever made.

The Russian Aircraft industry certainly know how to build some mean looking fantastic aircraft !

My Black Sun affiliated YV-666. First repaint I've done in ages, and took me ages to do after changing my mind several times about the colour scheme.

Next time I'm definitely doing something smaller.

I got a second Y-Wing for my Scum faction ... a cheap Rebel 1.0 Y-Wing, since my local stores have long run out of Most Wanteds.

I was inspired by this one - it kind of matches the Jumpmaster and the G-1A, but also goes well with Rebels.



I dirtied it up a little too much, and now the red no longer matches the G-1A, but never mind. Two unpainted Rebel Y-wings for comparison.

I did the purple Y-Wing a few years ago because I really didn't like the Most Wanted colour.
