I ended up going with a Centauri Republic scheme of purple, white wing panels, gold canopies.

I love purple/gold/black combo but the white works really good there too.

It really is. Shame that they made such a hash of the tabletop game. That's something I wouldn't mind seeing FFG take a run at (although I'm sure it's been out of the mainstream for too long to make it worthwhile, esp. compared to Star Wars).

Could be pretty easy to mod Armada into the B5 universe. 3D printing of many of the ships is available. Might have to go start a thread over there.

We've had a couple of those threads for months.

Very little actual progress.

I hate the HWk. It's ugly has an awefull maneauver dial and too good pilot skills not to use it...

So far i played one in all my tournaments because of that. As i have no influence on pilot or maneauvers i decided i have to do something about the looks.

Exactly the guns are from a BFG Imperial Cruisers sensors.

The like round parts at the back are acutally from Demiurg bits :-D But you dont really need them.

More Fun With Pencils.

Not for everyone and not really re-paints.

just a case of touching up the the FFG standard paint jobs.

Most of my models are re-painted.

but in some cases I have used Coloured pencils as a bit of fun, and to show some

that aren't to comfortable or confident in re-painting there miniatures

How easy it is to spruce them up a bit.

Really suits the Rebel's with there ships being so Dirty and Grimy.

The Inquisitor to go along with my Wampa

My imperials, part 2 of an ongoing series.

First up, Tie Adv Prototype. Love this model. Lots of fun to play, and super easy to make look good. Definitely going to need another one.

TIE Interceptors. The basic TIE Interceptor is pretty much just like the standard TIEs. The Royal Guard TIE I ended up leaving most of the original red, painted the panels white, redid the canopy, and then added some gray and gold detailing. Wasn't sure how it would work but I'm really happy with how it turned out.

I repainted my Tie Advanced to fit in with my other Imperial ships ie: a darker grey, While at the same time making sure that the model can be used to represent the big guy himself!

I added Ion thrusters with OSL to Vader's Tie Advanced as well as referencing his X-Wing card and painting OSL on the inside of his wings.

As usual I have changed the lasers to green.

I don't think I am going to add the usual blood stripes in honor of the Sith Lord himself

SO THAT's where the engines are on a TIE/AD. I've been wondering.

Loving that scheme on the HWK. Really pushes the conversion changes even farther, giving it a totally different look and feel. Good stuff.
