Their arrogance is going to be the reason they collapse and then FFG won't just have their IP rights but they will buy out GW.

I really enjoy the Warhammer and 40K settings. Though I have tons of their minis, GW's rules have never really appealed to me.

Here is hoping FFG ends up doing real rules for those awesome GW minis :)

So long as I don't have to buy a pack of Eldar Guardians in order to get a Frag Grenade upgrade for my Tactical Marines, I won't mind.

Having Asmodee bring GW under their ownership would, I think, be a good thing. Get the management team out and let the designers work with the community as happens at Days of Wonder and FFG. Asmodee could also gain by licensing the IP from their left hand to their right hand and make a 'proffit' in the same way Disney, WB, and Hasbro do.
