Episodes with Hutt Space in the Clone Wars series?

By RodianClone, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

I think the Clone Wars series is cool enough, I really enjoy some of the episodes, but the series didn`t grab me, as Rebels did. I am more into character driven stories I guess.

However, the CW can be great for source and inspiration! So to all of you CW fans are there any episodes with a focus on Hutt Space?

My players spend a lot of time on Nar Shaddaa, and tomorrow they will most likely travel to Nal Hutta. Any episodes that features these places?

Or any apisodes that has a focus on hutts and even the hutt kajidics? Anjiliac, Vosadii and Shell Hutts would in particular would be awesome to see or know more about!

Thanks.

Yes. The are a few. There's an arc dealing with Cad Bane and Ziro the Hutt. I'm afraid I can't give you the episode numbers at the moment but if you look through an episode guide for their names and / or senate rescue they should come up. The full-length movie itself also spends some time on Tarooine, iirc. It features Jabba, anyway.

"Hunt for Ziro" in season 3 is one I found..

The Series Pilot Movie has Jabba the Hutt on Tattooine and his "Uncle" Zero on Couriscant.

Season 1 Episodes 11 & 12 deal with Pirates on Florum.

Season 1 Episode 22 has bounty hunters attacking the senate to force Zero's release from prison.

Season 3 Episode 9 has "The Hutt Council." Not sure what worlds are shown offhand, but I'm fairly sure most of the episode is in Hutt space.

Season 4 Episodes 15-18 is an arc where Kenobi goes undercover as a bounty hunter. I "think" it's Nal Hutta that they make a pit stop on in this arc. I know that there are hutt dealings...

Check out the episode list and read through the descriptions. Even if you don't love the series, there's lots of great information in there.

Hutt Space <3

Part of the Rako Hardeen arc included Hutta.

It's off by several thousand years and colored by the way MMOs work, but SWTOR features these places pretty heavily. Nar Shadaa, in particular, is a visually striking place. And the design of both places (missions, story, etc) mirrors the "modern" situation, by necessity, so even the intervening years aren't much of a problem. I'm sure you could find some inspiration/information there -- or at least from YouTubing the relevant sections.

Since this thread has been resurrected? I have to point out, RC, that TCW was incredibly character-driven.

And, sheesh, there were a ton of episodes that either featured Hutt space or dealt with "scum and villainy" elements out on the fringe. Those were some of my favorite episodes of the series...

The one with Boba Fett, Bossk, Dengar, Asajj Ventress, and a handful of other bounty hunters on the underground train was a definite highlight. (That one might have started out in Hutt space. Can't recall.)

I liked the start of that episode as it was on a planet with a skyhook.

I like most of the episodes that doesn`t focus to much on or even feature Anakin, Padme and Obi-Wan, they have boring or unappealing personalities and character chemestry between them that doesn`t grip me at all. I like Ahsoka and the clones and episodes that focus more on "unknown" characters, they are often way more interesting and fun. Don`t hate the main characters, they just bore me. What is kind of surprising is that Jar-Jar isn`t by far as annoying in this series and/or format.

I like the worldbuilding and setting more than the main characters in this show and I have problems liking the opening monologues that throws you right into the scene, as it is a bad or at least outdated storytelling tool.. I have mixed feelings about it, but openingscrolls that cut to media res is a Star Wars trope that came from Flash Gordon if I`m not mistaken so I get why they use the monologue-opening and it gives the show a classic feel in a way... As I said, mixed feelings..

So yea, my point is that I don`t feel I have to watch this series chronologically to enjoy it, I can just see an episode here and there, like the ones focused on the parts of the setting I use in my campaign, mostly Hutt Space.

Sure. I watched them in episode order first. Been going back through now in chronological order and I enjoy it more personally. I like all of it though haha.
