Decent Siegfried deck?

By cloudjsh7, in UFS Deck Building

I'm a new player to UFS and really want a solid Siegfried (SC IV) deck.

Currently I have:

Characters:

  • Siegfried (SC IV) x2

Attacks:

  • Dragon Breath x3
  • Fire Shadow x3
  • Reborn Basher x2
  • Reborn Slasher x3
  • Iron Tower x2
  • Hilt Impact x3
  • Rising Hilt x3
  • Eagle Talon x3

Actions:

  • Base Hold x2
  • Dual-Wielding x2

Foundations:

  • Ready for Battle x2
  • Regretful Existence x2
  • Needs No Ally x3
  • Unstoppable Conviction x3
  • Journey of Repentance x3
  • Nobility of the Wolf x2
  • Strength of Training x3
  • Persevering Despite Rejection x3
  • Chosen by Soul Calibur x3
  • Memories of a Nightmare x2
  • Hope for One's People x3
  • Torn Hero x2

Which is basically the starter deck. I'm not ever sure where to start in terms of deck building. I'm still learning the game and when I do get the chance to play, I feel like I almost never use my foundation's abilities.

At the least, if somebody could tell me how to play this deck. I haven't won a single match yet...=X

This was my current good siggy deck

1 Siegfred.

2 Gianzende Nova and Frischer Himmel
2 Soul Calabur.

4 Fire Shadow
4 Rising Hilt
4 Chi Disruptor
3 Double Beta Grounder
4 Reborn Slasher

4 Hope for One's People
4 The Man Behind the Mask
4 Cursed Blood
3 Hunt for Jin
4 Know When to Talk...
3 Torn Hero
4 Enemies now Friends
4 Memories of a Nightmare
3 Recon
3 Needs No Ally

The whole point of my deck is simple aggro.

Turn one, Drop as many foundations as you can.

Turn two, use siggys frist form to give your oppenent a symbol that they dont have, if needed use Needs No Ally to drop symbols off your self so siggys E gives at least +4 to your attacks. Then go nuts and attack.

If you want more of an insight to some of these cards go look at Lord Aggro's Lu-Chen post and read up.

After all if we dont teach our children to read... how will they ever know whats on?

First you should start by taking out the 2 control check attacks and replace them with 3's so that when you use siggys ability then you dont have to commit that many foundations to actually pass it. Unless you can get your hands on a few of his UR Double Grounder Beta its one worth runnign and i recommend trying to get them somehow

second get a playset of the foundations that you want to use the most, Needs no ally, Hungry for battle, torn hero, man behind the mask are all good choices for a foundation base

Woohoo! 10 cool points and a cookie each for Cain and ghetto. I finally won a match. =P

Awesome glad to hear it.....did you start using your foundation base or was siggy enough to push attacks through and deal damage?

It was mostly using my foundation bases and using Siggy's First F and E combos. I really want to use some of the Soul Cal III cards but I heard those were banned from tourneys...=[

No problem Cloud. That is what we are here for is help. If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Not really banned but just rotated out you can still play them in casual games and if you can convince your playgroup to have a legacy tourney once and a while then you can play them then
