Last year I seem to remember prior to Gen-Con wave 5 looked as if it was going to be available on Amazon and other retailers. After gen-con it was back to at the printers and obviously not available and then wasn't available for several months after gen-con. I am betting that the only ones available in a few weeks will be those at gen-con again. Anyone else remember that from last year and I think the years before also.

Wave 3 was out fairly soon after Gencon. With all the shipping issues last year, I wouldn't start the rants about pre-releases just yet.

I don't remember there being any irregularities with the status updates, but wave 5 did have an early release at gencon and then was not in general release for several months. FFG, I believe, had a supply of Wave 5 and Rebel Aces air shipped to them so they could have some for GenCon. I expect the same thing with wave 7 and possibly the raider this year.

In the week before GenCon last year, they also did a whole bunch of preview articles all in a hurry-like to get them out before the con when people were going to spoil stuff anyway, just like this year.

I just want someone who gets them there to spoil what's still unseen.

I think there is no question that Gencon will have the Imperial Raider and possibly Wave 7 available for pre-release sale.

The one thing that is uncertain is how long after Gencon will it take for the the Imperial Raider and Wave 7 to be at retailers. No doubt last year was unusually rough year concerning product logistics. FFG had speed bumps nearly every part of the process from needing to find a new manufacture when the off shore facility wasn't up to par, all the way to the dock strikes caused by dock owners locking out dock workers to force many out of a job. It was a rough year.

Now this year is not looking so bad but, I think the effects from last year including some of the back up on the wait-lists hasn't all been cleared so I suspect that there will be delays. Maybe not as bad as last year but delayed none the less.
